Letter to Edward Hubbald, 1679 January 31.

Letter [to Edward Hubbald] concerning the demands of auditors to have records of Wharton's accounts. (He sends them and does not appear personally because of two attacks of gout which have kept him in bed for ten weeks). He questions the malice apparent in the order, and states that this has never happened so "magisterially" before.
